USFWS Public Scoping Meeting

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) will be holding public scoping meetings to gather information to prepare a draft Environmental Impact Statement (draft EIS) related to the development of the Deschutes Basin Habitat Conservation Plan. The primary purpose of the scoping process is for the public to assist the Service and HCP Applicants (Deschutes Basin Board of Control’s Irrigation Districts and the City of Prineville) in developing a draft EIS by identifying important issues and alternatives related to the applicant’s proposed action or Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP).   The Service will conduct four public scoping meetings.

    • 2:00 to 4:00 pm; and 6:00 to 8:00 pm
  • Tuesday, August 15​, 2017
  • Deschutes National Forest Headquarters, ​63095 Deschutes Market Road, Bend, Oregon​  97701​
    • 2:00 to 4:00 pm; and 6:00 to 8:00 pm

The sessions will cover identical subject matter; you may attend one or the other, or both.
